随着世界经济的快速发展,社会对于人才的需求无论从数量上还是质量上都提出了更高的要求。从而对MBA教育——这种以培养职业经理人为目标的高等教育模式提出了新的挑战。而案例教学法作为一种新型、高效的教学方法,已经越来越多地受到全世界教育工作者的重视。将案例教学的方法引入MBA教育,从世界范围来看,已经有了相当长的发展历史,相当多的院校已经成功积累了丰富的经验。本文将以加拿大西安大略大学毅伟商学院为例,探讨MBA教育中案例教学法的应用,并对中国MBA教育中引入案例教学法提出对策和建议。
  本文首先对案例教学法的含义、基本原则、意义、发展历史以及发展现状进行阐述和分析,然后以毅伟商学院为例,分析探讨案例教学法在毅伟商学院MBA教育中的应用。在这一部分中,先简要介绍了毅伟商学院的发展历史和发展现状,以及毅伟商学院MBA教育的发展历史和现状等内容。其后,重点分析了毅伟商学院MBA案例教学体系,其包括常规性综合评价体系及非常规性综合评价体系,并对其进行了评估。接着,本文分别将美国哈佛大学商学院、芝加哥大学商学院、北京大学光华管理学院、复旦大学管理学院的案例教学法在MBA教育中的应用与毅伟商学院的情况进行比较研究,寻找它们之间的异同。最后,阐明中国MBA教育案例教学的现状及其存在的问题,并对案例教学法在中国MBA教育中的应用提出相应的建议及对策措施。

Abstract

  With the rapid development of world economy,the social demand for economic talents is higher and higher,both in quality and quantity. Therefore, it puts forward news challenges to MBA education,which aims at nurturing professional managers. As a new,efficient teaching method,case method is attracting more and more attention of educators all over the world. The combination of case method and MBA education has a quite long history in the world. Many universities have accumulated considerable experience of it. The paper takes Richard Ivey School of Business,University of Western Ontario for example,studying the application of case method in MBA education. And the paper also puts forward suggestions and countermeasures to the combination of case method and MBA education.
  Firstly,the paper expounds and analyzes the definition,basic principle,signification,development history and actuality. Afterwards, it analyzes the application of case method in MBA education of Richard Ivey School of Business. First of all,it introduces the development history of Richard Ivey School of Business,and the development history of the MBA education and the actuality of it. And then,it emphasizes its case method system,including Conventional Comprehensive Evaluation System and unconventional Comprehensive Evaluation System. Subsequently,compare the application of case method in MBA education of Richard Ivey School of Business with that of Harvard Business School,Chicago Graduate School of Business,Guanghua School of management and Management School of Fudan University,and demonstrates the same points as well as the differences. Finally, he paper analyzes the actuality of the application of case method in China MBA education and the problems with it,and puts forward corresponding suggestions and countermeasures of it.
