随着中国经济的迅速崛起,社会对商业经理人的需求愈来愈多,要求也愈来愈高,因此中国的MBA教育也日渐兴旺,但人们必须看到的一个不争的事实是:目前中国是MBA教育大国,但还不是MBA教育强国。虽然在中国有超过100家的商学院和数十家中外合作学院提供MBA教育,每年有两万多名在校生攻读MBA,但这些与中国在其他商务领域所取得的成就相比还不是很相称。中国MBA发展的方向和模式,是中国各商学院正在思考和不断摸索创新的领域。
  MBA教育最初从美国发展起来,其成就举世瞩目,曾一度是很多欧洲商学院和其他地区商学院所效仿的对象,但随着现代经济的发展,这些商学院逐渐发现形成自己的独特体系和独特优势的重要性。中西方文化的差异和中国特有的国情,让我们在引进这些建立在西方价值观念上的管理模式和教育模式时遇到了瓶颈,如何在中国现有的经济条件下吸收这些先进事物,是中国商学院值得深思的问题。
  新加坡是中西合璧的典范,南洋商学院充分利用这一优势,在短短20年间发展成为亚洲第二,全球排名前一百的优秀商学院。其与中国在各方面的相似性和其发展速度与成就让笔者有充分的理由相信,其发展模式对中国商学院的发展具有重要的借鉴意义。
  本文主要分为三个部分:
  第一部分是对南洋商学院MBA教育的发展进行综述。
  第二部分主要从七个方面对该校MBA教育的情况做详细的分析与研究,从而发现其特色,找出可以对中国MBA教育具有借鉴意义的地方。这七个方面分别是:培养模式、课程设置、师资结构、学院考核方式、校园生活、国际化战略和职业发展。
  第三部分主要探讨该院的管理和发展模式对中国MBA教育的启示。

Abstract
  Along with the rise of China’s economy,the demand for professional managers is in a larger quantity and a higher quality and the MBA education in China was following thriving then. The developmental direction and model of China’s MBA education are new areas that China’s business schools are thinking and constantly exploring. The difference between Chinese and western culture and our particular national conditions made us encounter the bottlenecks when we introduced the management model and educational mode which based on the values established in the west. It is worthy of thinking how to absorb these advantageous things under our current economic conditions for China’s business schools.
  The success of MBA education from USA initially has attracted the attention worldwide and made many business schools from other countries follow them not long since. In the wake of the development of modern economy,countries gradually discovered the significance to form their own unique educational system and the advantages which suit their development.
  Singapore’s MBA education is a model of the combination of the east and the west and Nanyang Business School (NBS) makes full use of this advantage and became Asia’s second,the world’s top 100 outstanding business school in a short span of 20 years. The similarities in various fields with China and the developmental pace and the positive results it achieved make us have every reason to believe that its developmental model is effective for china’s business schools use for reference.
  This paper is divided into three main parts:
  The first part sums up the process of the development of the MBA education of NBS.
  The second part is a detailed analysis and research about the NBS’s MBA education mainly from the seven aspects to discover its characteristics and the references for Chinas MBA education uses. The seven areas are: training model,the curriculum system,teachers’ structure,the college examination,campus life,a strategy of internationalization and career development.
  The third part focuses on the inspirations that the NBS’s MBA education provides on the management and developmental models for Chinas MBA education.
