The year 2019 is gone. Looking back on this year, we have been moving forward despite some difficulties. In 2020, we will forge ahead with firm steps. The year of 2019 is a year of "brand building" for ZUEL MBA. Thanks to the efforts of our faculty, students and alumni, we have embarked on a series of ground-breaking and practical initiatives, and because of your support, our 2019 has been a fruitful one.

Together, we have witnessed some significant progress of ZUEL MBA:

1. School of Business Administration (MBA Education Center) has passed AMBA certification for re-assessment. In June 2019, the MBA program of SBA (School of Business Administration) ZUEL gone through the re-accreditation visit by the AMBA International Accreditation Expert Group. In June 2011, ZULE MBA program became the first program to obtain AMBA certification among universities and colleges featured in finance and economics in China.

In October 2019, the headquarters of the Association of MBAs (AMBA) in the UK sent an official written notice: ZUEL MBA was approved by the AMBA International Accreditation Committee and was granted international accreditation with a maximum period of 5 years.

2. MBA faculty won the Education Book Award

In June 2019, professor CAO Liang, professor LI Jianghong and professor WANG Shuhong were awarded the title of "Teaching and Educating Award" in the first "Teaching and Educating Award" selection conducted by the school, through processes such as the primary selection of teaching units, online voting, comprehensive evaluation by the jury, and the review and announcement by the ZUEL administration meeting.

3. The re-selection of MBA Student Party Branch

On April 8, 2019, the student party branch of ZUEL held the general election meeting. New members were nominated.

4. ZUEL awarded National "Top 100 Excellent Management Cases" Award

On September 10, 2019, the National Steering Committee for Graduate Education of Business Administration announced the list of winners of the 10th "National Top 100 Excellent Management Cases" (" Top 100 Excellent Cases "for short).

The two teaching cases developed by associate professor ZHENG Yaozhou, and his students team, were successfully selected into the "Top 100 Excellent Cases" (general case) and "Top 100 Excellent Cases" (mini case) respectively this year.

ZUEL MBA has always been in the forefront in China, with a very good foundation for case development, and several cases developed by ZUEL MBA have been awarded "Top 100 Excellent Cases" before.

This year, two participating cases were selected into two different categories and awarded, which is a new breakthrough in case development of our MBA education

5. The launch of ZUEL MBA Talent Training program

After the national MBA and EMBA enrollment reform in 2017, ZUEL MBA is actively exploring the innovation of the training mode for senior business management talents. After a pilot program in 2018, ZUEL MBA Talent Training program will be officially launched in 2019. According to the original EMBA training model, we will recruit students with rich senior management experience, and cultivate " industry leaders who are deeply rooted in China with global vision ".

6. The International Silk Road Entrepreneurship Education Alliance Cooperation Demonstration Base (Wuhan) was inaugurated

On December 16th, the International Silk-Road Entrepreneurship Education Network (SREEN) and ZUEL MBA jointly held the Dean's conference for the universities and colleges featured in Economics and Management, and inaugurated the International Silk Road Entrepreneurship Education Alliance Cooperation Demonstration Base (Wuhan).

Wang Zhongming, chairman of SREEN and director of the Global Entrepreneurship Research Center of Zhejiang University attended the meeting. Deans from 14 finance and economics colleges and universities including Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Central University of Finance and Economics and Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, had a discussion on the upgrading of business education and internationalization strategy.

The ZUEL MBA program will cooperate with SREEN, give full play to the advantages of ZUEL's integration of legal management, and deepen the education of innovation and entrepreneurship.

7. MBA student activities continue to explore and innovate

In September 2019, the welcome party for new MBA students was held in Zhenxiao Lecture Hall of Wenhui Building. The welcome party was held by the 2019 MBA freshmen and received attention and reports from many mainstream media such as Netease, Sohu and Toutiao.

In 2019, ZUEL MBA students actively participated in competitions like the Silk Road Entrepreneurship 2050 (Global Business Challenge), the 3rd China MBA Coast Race, the 1st China MBA Desert Challenge, the 19th China MBA Development Forum, the 13th China MBA Alliance Conference and other activities. Among them, MBA students won the "China MBA New Talent 100" award and other awards. ZUEL MBA held basketball competition with other MBA schools in Wuhan, MBA reading party, visited well-known enterprises including Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., China Railway Bridge Bureau, Jinyu Bonded Development Company.

8. Building up a three-dimensional alumni service network

In 2019, ZUEL MBA build an alumni service network platform and explore a new model of alumni service. It has successively held "Alumni Forum on Intellectual Property, Innovation and Entrepreneurship", Alumni Sharing Meeting in the Financial Industry, MBA Career Development Workshop, Parent-child Education Salon for MBA Alumni and other activities, providing platforms and support for the continuous growth of MBA alumni.

9. Overseas study Tours cultivate an international perspective

In order to enhance students' international vision and cultivate international business talents, MBA Association, together with other colleges and universities in Central China (including ZUEL), has organized study Tours for MBA students in Central China to world famous universities.

Together with MBA students from universities in Wuhan, they visited world-famous schools to learn top business courses, exchange opinions on the differences between Chinese and American corporate cultures, and discuss the business foundation and the importance of entrepreneurship in China and the United States.

10. The annual awards are a perfect ending for year

On January 9th, 2020, the grand "Chinese Business School Ceremony" jointly organized by MBAChina and Manager magazine was held, and the ranking of Chinese business schools in 2019 jointly evaluated by Mbachina and Manager magazine was released.

Professor Qian Xuefeng, Dean of SBA ZUEL, won the 2019 "The Excellent Operation of China Business School Award". ZUEL MBA program was listed in the "Top 50 Best MBA Programs of Chinese Business Schools " in 2019 and the "Most Featured MBA Program” among Chinese Business School in 2019 respectively.
