On June 17th, Wang Yingli, director and vice president of Carnation Textile Group, also our enterprise mentor, gave an excellent lecture to full-time MBA students at Room 210 WENJIN Building.
The lecture is divided into six parts.
The first part is about the professionalism of midlevel managers.
Good managers need to have the professional mentality, especially the altruistic mentality. According to the four dimensions of attitude and ability formation, different methods can be adopted to manage employees. Midlevel managers should have a tolerant mind, stable mood and other excellent personality and charm. Mr. WANG instructed the students to use the Johari window to examine their own ability, explore the unknown self, complement their own weaknesses according to the needs of the enterprise, improve their ability, create value for the enterprise, and prepare themselves to become excellent senior managers.
The second part is about the organization of midlevel managers. "Enterprise success = strategy × organizational ability", organizational ability should be adapted to strategy, and individual ability should be transformed into organizational ability through system construction. Mr. WANG explained the improvement methods and measures of employee thinking, employee ability and employee governance, as well as the construction of three key organizational capabilities: innovation, cost and globalization.
The third part is about the communication art of midlevel managers.
Midlevel managers should play a role of supporting and sharing the worries of their superiors, respecting, cooperating and helping their peers, and achieving " parallel communication", caring, understanding and paying attention to their subordinates, and communicating to their employees with heart.
The fourth part is about three professional thinking of midlevel managers: financial thinking, marketing thinking, human capital thinking. WANG explained in detail how to apply and implement each thinking style. With the help of practical cases, he vividly shows the important role of digging the deep demand behind the surface in terms of marketing.
The fifth part is about the leadership wisdom of top managers.
The essential qualities of a top manager are the courage to be first and compatible. The top management should love the organization, contribute to the organization, they must be open-minded, and have wisdom to find, recognize and tolerate talented employees. Senior managers should also establish a new leadership concept of "the interaction between leadership and change", "management is less important than leadership", and "the transformation from the exclusion of differences to prioritize of differences".
The sixth part is about the risk management awareness of senior managers.
At different stages of start-up, growth, maturity and decline of the enterprise, senior managers should carry out different risk management in operation risk, financial risk, capital structure, dividend distribution and other aspects.
WANG made a presentation and summary of the lecture: an outstanding executive should be a strategist who has the foresight and courage, grasps the overall situation in the strategic operation, and stands out and leads the way.
At last, WANG gave his book to students who answered the questions well, and awarded the students who provided good suggestions to the Group, and took photos with these students.
