On June 7, 2019, the highly anticipated “The First China MBA Desert Trekking Challenge” kicked off in Gaotai Desert of Zhangye, Gansu Province. More than 500 elite students and leaders from more than 30 business colleges and universities in China, as well as talents from many benchmark enterprises joined this competition. 13 ZUEL MBA alumni and students participated in this competition.

The team will spend two days trekking through about 60 kilometers of desert. On the way, team members will walk across a variety of landforms, including Gobi, canyon and so on. They put practice the competition philosophy of "Exploring the unknown, Having FUN and being myself" with perspiration, and experienced teamwork and self-breakthrough in extreme environments. The competition fully embodies the spirit of China's international business, explores the mission and responsibility of Chinese business elites in the new era, and carries out the spirit of the times, such as cooperation, persistence and exploration.

While whistle blew, the competition began, the players sprint to the finish line with fully enthusiasm and confidence. Trekking through the road, sometimes hot sometime cold sometimes sandstorm. The wind blows and the sand blows. Along the way, accompanied by physical strength and perseverance, they kept on going.

After two days of intense competition, the winning teams and individuals emerged. ZUEL MBAers won the bronze prize, while ZUEL MBA Team won the Group Prize.

The achievement of ZUEL MBA is inseparable from the hard work of every team member. In the cruel environment of the desert, we fought side by side and supported each other. We were not afraid of the desert and the rough road ahead, so we overcame the difficulties.
