On November 18, 2018, Annual Conference of National Research Society for Experiment Teaching of Appraisal and the Third Symposium on Experiment Teaching of Appraisal was held in Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB). The conference was organized by the National Research Society for Experiment Teaching of Appraisal and sponsored by the Institute of Appraisal of CUEB. Present at the meeting were more than 60 experts on appraisal, including Ms. ZAHO Jin’e (training director of China Appraisal Society), Professor JI Yicheng (president of National Research Society for Experiment Teaching of Appraisal) and Professor LI Hongxia (dean of School of Public Finance and Taxation of CUEB).
Professor WEN Hao, vice dean of School of Business Administration of ZUEL and a member of China National Master of Valuation Educational Supervisory Committee, attended the meeting and made a keynote speech on case study in appraisal classes.
The conference was separated into four parts, with each part focusing on one topic. The topics were “construction of virtual reality experiment programs”, “integration of IT and experiment teaching”, “case study in appraisal classes” and “construction of appraisal courses.
Ms. ZHAO Jin’e emphasized that research on experiment teaching of appraisal plays a significant role in improving the quality of experiment teaching of appraisal in institutions of higher education. According to Professor JI Yicheng, experiment teaching is an important part in modern higher education and appraisal education is no exception.
Professor PANG Lei, who was from Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, made a summary. He said: “During this conference, we carefully explored experiment teaching, VR teaching, case study and software application in appraisal education. These aspects will add more contents to experiment teaching of appraisal. We hope that National Research Society for Experiment Teaching of Appraisal could make more contribution to the development of the appraisal industry and appraisal education.
