On 6th August, 2015, YE Yuanxi, the adjunct professor of ZUEL, and also the CEO of Shenzhen Grandland Decoration Group Co.,Ltd. and his team went to Zhuhai to visit GREE Electric Appliance,Inc.Of Zhuhai for business communications.
Gree Electric Appliances Inc. of Zhuhai was founded in 1991. It is an international air conditioning enterprise which has integrated R&D, manufacturing, marketing and service. It takes “Master of Core Technology” as the business concept and “To build a centenary enterprise” as the development target. It is leading the industry with its excellent product quality, advanced technologies and unique sales mode. So far, it has developed three brands, namely GREE, TOSOT and KINGHOME, with a wide product range which includes residential air conditioners, central air conditioners, air source water heaters, TOSOT home appliances, Kinghome refrigerators, etc. Gree is the only one manufacturer in Chinese HVAC industry that is honored as “World Brand”. Its business spreads to more than 160 countries and regions. Today Gree’s annual production capacity of RAC and CAC are more than 60 million sets and 5.5 million sets respectively.
DONG Mingzhu, the CEO of Gree, she is also our MBA alumni. Under her management, Gree has topped No.1 in production and sales volume for 10 consecutive years since 2005, with over 300 million users all across the world. In May 2015, Gree entered into the world’s top 500 public companies, ranking No. 385 in Forbes Global 2000 and No. 1 in household appliances industry section.
YE and his team visit the production line and research center of Gree and have a better understanding of the development history, the corporate culture, the management methods, and the innovations of Gree. Afterwards, YE, DONG and their management team exchange their opinions together. YE speaks highly of the management standard of Gree and he is enlightened by this visits. YE hopes that both of the two parties will conduct cooperation and achieve mutual benefits.
