In the afternoon of 19thJune, WANG Jianrong, general manager of Proya Companies (HUZHOU), also our EMBA students invites our EMBA classmates, along with NIE Xin, vice dean of MBA School, professor Dennis of Operations Management and his wife, to visit the company.
The site visiting is part of EMBA mobile class, it aims to break the walls between theory and practices, and between student and student. Furthermore, the visiting is a platform to strengthen the bond between the entrepreneurs and the business schools. The visiting encourages mutual communications between the EMBA students, and inspires brainstorms.
The Proya Companies engages in cosmetic scientific research, production and sales. It has six brands, including Proya, Yoya, Hanya and other three brands. Nowadays, it has more than 1000 productions in malls, boutiques, and chain stores. Its comprehensive power ranks the top of the industry. Under the guidance of WANG, the students know the development history, the vision, strategy, the corporate culture of the company. The students are impressed by the quality of the production, the standardization and the automation of the hardware and procedures. After the site visiting, the students come to the conference room, and discuss with other students on what they are interested, including the production process, the supply chain, the quality control, and the marketing strategy.
The site visiting is welcomed by the students, for offering an opportunity to know real-world experience. During the visiting, the students can share their opinions together. They hope the activities will last for as long as possible.
