JIANG Qing, Our EMBA Alumni Visiting MBA Classes

    In the morning of 16th May, Mrs. JIANG Qing, the director of Experimental Office of Big Data Research of China Internet Networking Information Center (CNNIC), also our EMBA alumnus, was appointed as MBA enterprise supervisor. The appointment ceremony was held in WENJIN building, WEN Hao, the vice dean of MBA School attends the ceremony and presents the certificate to JIANG. After the ceremony, WANG gives a lecture with the theme of Big Data and Management Decision.

    Firstly, JIANG introduced the background information from a macro point of view. She said the concept of Big Data has swept China and be used in National Security, opinion monitoring, statistics monitoring. At the same time, the big data has been applied to the management decisions. Afterwards, JIANG shared some big data cases in governmental decisions and enterprises decisions. She also emphasize the classification of the consumers is of great importance to the effectiveness of marketing. Then she said that to improve the percentage of investment input, the coverage of big data application in each step are essential. We should innovate the service model and business model.

    In the end, JIANG summarized that e-commerce should focus on products and consumers. The work should be done in a team guided by marketing strategy. In the Q&A part, MBA students raised many questions and JIANG answered one by one with patience. The students were enlightened with new thinking patterns after JIANG’s lecture.
