In the morning of 18^th, April, the Grade 2013 MBA students and WANG Yanming, their head teacher, are invited by the LI Zhaojin, our MBA classmate also the general manager of Gold Hongye Paper Co., Ltd (HUBEI), to visit the manufacturing base of the company in Xiaogan.

    Speaking of the Gold Hongye Paper Co., Ltd, many people may be unfamiliar with it. However, its sub-brand “QINGFENG” is known for most Chinese people. LI Zhaojin, he is the elder student among the Grade 2013 MBA students, but it is him who also from Taiwan, led his team to set up Gold Hongye Paper Co., Ltd (HUBEI)and expand company business here.

    In the afternoon of 18^th, LI presented the history of company development. How the company transform from office paper production to household paper production. And in the 1990s, the total sales volume in China mainland has increased tenfold.

    Led by LI, we witness the whole process of paper-making, from making paper pulp, cutting paper to packing. In the evening, the students begin to share their own life story. LI tell us that , after his marriage, he was unwilling to be only a farmer, and be recruited to be the worker from the start. Due to the shift, he cannot go to home to celebrate new-year, instead he ate five cup of instant noodles. And when he returned to his home, his first meal was too tasteful to forget; when they first started doing business in Hubei, some troubles came to. LI tell the students how they deal with them. And so many other stories. Afterwards, one of the student think that the visiting is very enlightening, it is a pleasure to meet the teachers, get to know the classmates and learn so much that they cannot be taught in class.

    The MBA company visit is arranged to better carry out the pedagogical methods of MBA School. The purpose of the arrangement aims to let the students learn something practical and experience different corporate environment. Hopefully the visits are beneficial to all MBA students.
