On April 17^th, with the curiosity about financial enterprises, MBA School students came to Wuhan Yangtze Financial Services Co., Ltd, which is located in Optics Valley. Their managers shared lots of experience as below, which students were very interested in.

How can a financial enterprise grow fast?

     Wuhan Yangtze Financial Services Co., Ltd, a holding subsidiary of Changjiang Futures Company Limited (CJFCO), registered in Sep. and started its business in Nov. last year, and has many projects worth more than 100 million now. Its fast development not only owing to the resource provided by the parent company, but also its continuous and innovative development mode: gearing to market changes by varying business plans and scope as well as adhering to the mission of the company. While the development of the financial industry comes into a new stage in 2015 and the dawn seems turn out, it is possible to grow fast by seizing each opportunity and using self advantages.  

Working time is flexible and no punch on the clock?

     Working in Wuhan Yangtze Financial Services Co., Ltd is envied by those nine-to-fivers because this company doesn’t request their staff’s attendance and punch hours. However, fewer hours in office are not very necessary, but the same heavy workload is otherwise. Working quality and quantity is still requested. What white collars in financial industry need to do is to schedule timetable and finish their work in high efficiency. Their working condition is actually intense. ZHANG, the General Manager said, though the company doesn’t require working hours, in fact, he usually receives emails from staff at wee hours. When most people have fallen asleep, the staff may still be sitting in front of their computers, facing a large amount of statistics and clients’ information.

To enter the financial industry, firstly you should...

     As basic knowledge of finance is essential in jobs related to finance, ZHANG pointed out that comprehensive ability and innovation spirit are also important. Financial service needs to solve clients’ problems utmost and meet clients’ requirement, so we need to consistently innovate in operation mode, facing to different conditions and needs of different clients. This is why the industry needs to keep learning. Students with n financial backgrounds may do the job well because of their vivid thinking mode if they meet the requirements of financial industry.

    Students achieve a lot after the half day visit. In this semester, MBA School has more visiting activities to let students see the different aspect of the industry. This journey will continue. As the world is so broad and splendid, MBA students should go out to see the outside world!
