Grade 2014 EMBA students from Zhejiang visited Dongqian Lake of Ningbo and completed their 4-day mobile class study of International Finance during 18th-21st September. To study alongside Dongqian Lake—a poetic place which made the studying atmosphere more peaceful and the classes more efficient. The course was delivered by PAN Guoling, professor of Shanghai Maritime University. This course mainly focuses on studying the problems in the field of international finance, the hot social issues and practical operations, like the relevant theory, practices and policies. It is an interdisciplinary subjects combined with profession and comprehension. It involves with many micro problems and macro problems. In PAN’s class, he usually speaks mandarin with Shanghai accent which made the class very funny. His class is full of substantial practical experiences, integrating case studies. For example from the global financial crisis to financial safeguard war of Hong Kong and so on. His class, though is time-limited, the students thought it worthy.
In the afternoon of 20th September, ZHU Fuxian, the CFO of Fotile Group, LV Ying, the general manager of the department of personal banking of Ningbo Branch of Guangdong Development Bank, YAN Jie, the general manager of Ningbo branch of Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group arranged a visiting tour to Hangzhou Bay Sea-Crossing Bridge and one of the Bridge investor--Fotile Group for all students and teachers. Hangzhou Bay Sea-Crossing Bridge is the longest cross-sea bridge in the world, 11 kilometers longer than King Fahd Causeway in Saudi Arabia. The Bridge starts from Jiangxing, Zhejiang, ends to Cixi Ningbo, Zhejiang, with the length of 36 kilometers The students were very excited to see the third longest bridge in the world. Next, the students visited the headquarter of Fotile Group. Ningbo FOTILE Kitchen Ware Co., Ltd. (“FOTILE” in short below) was found in 1996. They thought that this study tour is an opportunity to see the excellent company, but also increase their friendship as well.
