On April 12, students of MBA “3S” Class and all the MBA students of 2013 visited Wuhan Yangluo Port.

    Accompanied by Manager Zhao of Wuhan International Container Co., Ltd. and Yi Hou (an alumnus of MBA School), the students visited the customs offices of Yangluo Port, the container berths, container yard, handling site of the port and inspection area of the customs. Manager Zhao introduced to the students such things as the working process of customs for the export and import cargos, the loading and unloading of containers, domestic and international cargo transport, and handling and stowage of containers.

    During the symposium, Manager Zhao answered the students questions related to output and operation, cost and insurance, and importance of the Port.

    Through this visit, the students have integrated what they have learned on class with the practices. Thus, they have got a further and more direct understanding of international trade and logistics.
