On this years NPC and CPPCC, there were five female ZUEL alumni who were NPC or CPPCC members. They were Mingzhu Dong, Zhongmei Lv, Ling Cai, Huihao Liu, Jinxiu Liu.

    Mingzhu Dong is regarded as the “Iron Lady” of business field. She was ZUELs EMBA student, and then appointed as adjunct professor of ZUEL.

    Zhongmei Lv has appealed for “protecting human health” for three consecutive years on the NPC. After her graduation from Wuhan University, she started her teaching career in School of Law, Zhongnan University of Political Science and Law (the predecessor of ZUEL). She was exceptionally appointed as associate professor in 1993 and professor in 1996. After that, she became Ph. D supervisor of ZUEL, professor of Wuhan University and Ph. D supervisor of Wuhan University. And she is the academic leader of environmental law.

    Ling Cai is one of the female CPPCC members. She was a professor and Ph. D supervisor of School of Economics, ZUEL. She was the one who got applauses for 13 times during a short speech of over 1000 words.

    Huihao Liu is another Zhongnan female on this years CPPCC. She got her masters degree in 1986 and doctoral degree in 1989 from ZUEL. She is the Director of ZUELs Research Institute on Finance, professor and Ph.D supervisor of School of Finance. She has put forward suggestions for the financial development of Wuhan.

    Jinxiu Liu graduated from ZUEL as a major of business administration. After graduation, she went back to her hometown, and started to raise sheep.  And at present, she has achieved a lot in her career and has won applauses and honors through her hard work.
