In the morning of February 28, the EMBA Open Class in Shandong Province was held in Jinan Shungeng Hill-view Hotel. This Open Class was sponsored by MBA School of ZUEL, and undertaken by the Service Center of Shandong Association for Science & Technology. Shangxi Liu, Deputy Director of Research Institute for Fiscal Science, Ministry of Finance, was invited to explore questions like public policy and overall restructuring of China, macro-economic tendency of China and transformation of enterprises and society.

    In Shandong Province, there are nearly 500 EMBA alumnus of ZUEL. Since 2008, symposiums or open classes on economic situation have been held every year in Shandong. These symposiums and open classes were to explore the macro-economic situation and tendency, regional economic development strategies, methods of enterprise transformation and to provide a platform of lifelong learning for the alumnus.

    After the open class, there was a lecture about the appreciation of classic music.

    In the end, Professor Lijun Hu, Dean of MBA School, made a brief summary. He said that both the open class and the classic music benefited us a lot. He also said that humanistic courses like music appreciation are a great innovation ZUELs EMBA education.
