MBA Students and Teachers Made a Study Tour to Hong Kong

In July, 2013, a group of students and teachers of MBA School, ZUEL made a study tour to Hong Kong. The study tour lasted for ten days and came to be a great success. During the study tour, the students attended a series of lectures delivered by well-known scholars and senior businessmen, and visited some famous local organizations and enterprises.
 

 

In the morning of July 2nd, 2013, Mr. Qiping Shi, a well-known commentator from Phoenix TV, gave a lecture titled “Globalization and China” in Hong Kong Baptist University. His splendid language and insightful analysis won great applause from the students.
Afterwards, the group members visited Invest Hong Kong, a department of the Hong Kong SAR Government responsible for foreign direct investment. Through this visit, members of the group got a comprehensive understanding of Hong Kong’s general situations and its excellent investment environment.
 

 

In the following two days, the group members attended some other lectures given by senior experts. In the meanwhile the group members visited several other organizations and enterprises, such as Consumer Search, ICAC, Bank Consortium Trust Company Ltd., and Amway Hong Kong.
 
 
On July 10th, 2013, the students and teachers of the group returned to Wuhan. Study tour to Hong Kong is an important part of MBA School’s cultivating of students’ global perspectives. Besides the knowledge they learned from the lectures and the information they obtained from the visits, the students also experienced the unique education essence and regional culture of Hong Kong through this study tour.
