Rice University Professor Haiyang Li Visits

On April 8th, Haiyang Li, the associate professor of Rice University, visited our school, and gave a lecture on "Strategy and Management Innovation". Hao Wen ,vice dean and associate professor of MBA school, hosted the lecture. The lecture was well received by the faculty and students from both MBA School and School of Business Administration, including associate professor Junwei Shi, professor BinYing, associate professor Keke Li and so on.

Doctor Haiyang Li is an associate professor on tenured track of Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management, Rice University, he is also a visiting professor in School of China and Europe International Business and Management. His research interests focus on technology entrepreneurship and innovation(especially the research on the transformation of Chinese enterprises), strategic Alliance, the innovation of Multinational company in emerging markets, the growth of Chinas high-tech park and so on. He has published a number of works in top international academic journals, including “AMJ”, “SMJ”, and “JIBS”.
After the lecture, Professor Li had a heated discussion the MBA students and shared his own suggestions and observations with the students. The vice Dean Hao Wen and Professor Junwei Shi contributed their own as well.
