EMBA Program Office Director Mr. Ari Manninen and MBA Program Director Mr. Pasi Aaltola from University of Jyvaskyla, Finland visited MBA School on April 11, 2013. In the morning, they had a meeting with the dean Professor LIjun Hu and vice dean Professor Hao Wen exploring the possibility of carrying out coloration between the two institutions. Professor Lijun Hu firstly introduced the recent developments in MBA School, and then proposed possible cooperation opportunities in the areas of faculty exchange, student exchange, study tours and joint-degree program(esp. joint DBA program). Mr. Ari and Mr. Pasi expressed their appreciation for MBA School’s achievements, and sincerely hope to bring the collaboration to the next level through both parties’ follow-up work. After the meeting, Mr. Ari and Mr. Pasi visited MBA teaching facilities with the company of Professor Hao Wen. Ms. Li Qi, Director of EMBA program, and Ms. Wang Ying, Directory of MBA program attended the meeting.

In the afternoon, Mr. Ari and Mr. Pasi visited ZUEL Monetary and Financial History Museum and the Economic and Management Lab. The delegation then joined some faculty members of MBA and EMBA programmes for an open discussion on advanced executive education programme in both countries. The discussion was followed by a warm reunion with some ZUEL delegation members who visited University of Jyvaskyla last summer.

The next day, April 12, accompanied by Pofessor Hao Wen, Dr. Yingna Wu and Mr. Caiqiao Zhu, the delegation visited one of the candidate sites for the proposed study tour - Wuhan Heavy Duty Machine Group with great interest.
