On December 22nd, 2012, the “10th anniversary of ZUEL EMBA and social gathering of Beijing Alumni” was held in Beijing Railway Hotel by MBA School, ZUEL. More than 130 EMBA alumni from Beijing attended the activity. Professor Jingming Zhou, Deputy Secretary of ZUEL’s Party Committee, stated ZUEL’s philosophy of schooling---to cultivate business leaders and political elites characterized by the combination of “finance, economics, management and law”. He also made a report about the achievements that our EMBA had achieved in last decade. Professor Lijun Hu, Vice Dean of MBA School, reviewed the ten main steps that EMBA had experienced in its development process during the past decade, and expressed his expectation of “creating a world-famous EMBA” in the following decade. Mingjiao Zhang, representative of the alumni and vice general manager of Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes Co., Ltd., expressed gratitude for ZUEL. Mr. Dingfei Hu, the newly elected executive chairman of the Beijing Alumni, made a speech. The opening ceremony was hosted by Hongling Zhou, from Class 1 of 2010.

Two wonderful lectures were arranged after the anniversary. One was the “next decade of China” delivered by Mr. Qiping Shi, a financial commentator of Phoenix TV; another was “on the appreciation and collection of Chinese paintings---from the prospective of the expressing differences between China and the Western paintings”.
