On October 12th, the 15th Chutian-Zhongnan MBA Salon---“Zhongnan Intelligence Summit Forum of 2012 and the Landing and Future of China’s Economy”---was held at Shouyi Campus of ZUEL. Mr. Qiping Shi (economic commentator of Phoenix TV), Professor Haisu Wang (Dean of MBA School), Professor Qing Ye (Deputy Director of Hubei Statistical Bureau), Mr. Jianhua Chen (Chairman of Wuhan Trade State-owned Holding Group Co., Ltd.), Mr. Fan Xie (Chairman of Wuhan Hilans Automation Machine Co., Ltd.) were present at the Forum.
As the representative of the Organizer, Professor Haisu Wang (Dean of MBA School, ZEUL) expressed in his speech his heartfelt thanks and welcome to Mr. Qiping Shi. He also emphasized that a responsible Business School should serve the society, explore the hot and difficult issues of Wuhan through the interaction with the media, and undertake the due social obligations. At last, Professor Wang expressed his welcome to those schoolfellows who were present at the Forum.
On behalf of the Hubei Promotion Office for Company Listing and more than 400 candidate listed companies, Mr. Changhai Wang (Director of Hubei Promotion Office for Company Listing) expressed his thanks and congratulations for this Forum. And he also shared the great progression made by Hubei Promotion Office for Company Listing in the past three years. At last he expressed his sincere hope that this Forum could transit a positive signal for the enterprises, especially the private ones, of Hubei Province and that the wisdom of the experts can be applied to vigorously improve the economy of Hubei.
On the Forum, Hubei Promotion Office of Company Listing granted MBA School as the Training Base of Executives for the Candidate Listed Companies of Hubei Province. Director Changhai Wang and Dean Haisu Wang unveiled the plaque for the Base.
Mr. Qiping Shi, economic commentator of Phoenix TV, made a key-note speech---the Landing and Future of China’s Economy. Mr. Shi firstly analyzed the economic status of China and the world from external and internal aspects. In his opinion, behind the high growth rate, severe production capacity bubble existed in China’s economy; whether soft landing can be achieved depends on domestic demand which can be stimulated by reform. Mr. Shi thought that the landing and future of China’s economy is depending on the coming 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
After Mr. Shi’s speech, the Round Table Presentation of Enterprise Practice began. Mr. Qiping Shi, Professor Haisu Wang, Professor Qing Ye, Mr. Jianhua Chen, and Mr. Fan Xie respectively expressed their understanding of China’s economy from the point of view of media person, experts and scholars, government officials and entrepreneurs.
