On September 18^th, ZUEL’s EMBA students from Class 4 of 2010 and Class 4 of 2011 reached Hong Kong Island, starting their study which would last for six days in Hong Kong Financial Services Institute (HKFSI).

    In the morning of September 19^th, a brief opening ceremony was held by HKFSI. Dr. Lingyang Zhao, President of HKFSI, made a gracious welcome address.

    Study tour is a characteristic part of ZUEL’s EMBA curriculum. The main content of this study tour was the development of Hong Kong’s trading mechanism and logistics industry. According to the arrangement of HKFSI, famous experts and entrepreneurs were delivering all-round courses to the EMBA students.

    Besides these courses, HKFSI also arranged customized schedule of visits, including the visit to Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the visit to Eastern Worldwide Co. Ltd..

    Through the study tour, the EMBA students got the opportunity to communicate with local professors and entrepreneurs. After attending their courses, the students became familiar with the mechanism and development trend of Hong Kong’s logistics enterprises, and learned the general situation and characteristics of Hong Kong’s trade. What’s more important is that the students have achieved close combination of EMBA theories and practices through this study tour.
