Entrance Highlights of the 2012 “3S” Students

On September 6th, the “3S” Full-time MBA Experimental Class enrolled in 2012 attended the first class---Career Planning. This class was delivered by Professor Fang Chen, Vice Dean of School of Public Administration, ZUEL. The splendid lecture of Professor Chen was well-received by the students. Based on her own practice in enterprises, she gave a lecture on approaches of career planning from several aspects, such as the definition of career, the career cycle, the factors of career and training of occupational ability.
In the afternoon, an entrance symposium for the “3S” Full-time MBA Experimental Class enrolled in 2012 was held. Dr. Xin Nie (Vice Dean of MBA School) and teachers from MBA Programme Office was present at the symposium. Dr. Nie made an overall review and summary of the MBA education history of ZUEL. He emphasized the necessity of reforming China’s MBA education from three aspects---the change of economic environment, the change of MBA students and the change of China’s market of management education; and he also stated the educational concept of ZUEL’s “3S” Full-time MBA Experimental Class. After that, each student made a short but impressive self-introduction.
On September 9th, students of the “3S” Full-time MBA Experimental Class enrolled in 2012 arrived at Nanjing Army Command College and began their two-month military study. The military study was made up of two parts---military training and military courses. The military study was aimed at developing good personal habits through experiencing military life, training physical power and willpower through exercising the training standards of soldiers, and strengthening the patriotism and collectivism through the study of military courses.
