ZUEL Selected as Excellent Legal Personnel Cultivation Base

Recently, Ministry of Education released a “Notice about the Publicity of the Review Results of the First Batch of Excellent Legal Personnel Cultivation Bases”, declaring ZUEL was successfully selected as one of the Bases. There are three kinds of Excellent Legal Personnel Cultivation Bases: education and cultivation base of applied and inter-disciplinary professional legal personnel, education and cultivation base of foreign-related legal personnel, and education and cultivation base of grass-roots legal personnel for western regions. ZUEL was one of the few universities which were approved to operate all the three kinds all together.
The selection was carried out in accordance with regulations prescribed in “Several Suggestions about Setting up Excellent Legal Personnel Cultivation Bases from the Ministry of Education and Central Political and Legislative Committee” and “Notice about Applying for Excellent Legal Personnel Cultivation Bases from the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education”. Going through severe reviews, Excellent Legal Personnel Cultivation Bases were finally selected through differential voting.
After several generations’ efforts, ZUEL’s law discipline has become China’s first-grade discipline. Judged from the rankings of China Law Society and China Legal Innovation Net, ZUEI’s law discipline has remained steadily in the first class of China, with five of its sub-disciplines being Top 5 .
