Crowdfunding is one of the practices of Internet finance, the core of entrepreneurial finance, and an important financial infrastructure that supports “mass entrepreneurship and mass innovation”.  2015 witnessed the rapid development of crowdfunding. But what will the future of crowdfunding looks like?

On December 5th, 2015, alumni of related industries and experts of finance, marketing and law gathered in ZUEL, exploring the future of “Internet + financial crowding”.

Presided over by Professor Wang Yongqiang, Vice Dean of Law School, the meeting started at 9 o’clock in the morning. Professor Wang Nianyong (from School of Finance, ZUEL), Associate Professor Ji Zhibin (Vice Dean of School of Finance, ZUEL), Professor Fei Xianzheng (from School of Business Administration, ZUEL), Zhou Wei (Dean of School Entrepreneurship, ZUEL) and many experts and alumni were invited to attend the meeting.

One of the alumni was Qing Kang, an EMBA alumnus from Wuhan. As the chairman and general manager of Jinyuan Collateral Financing Co., Ltd., Mr. Qin shared several crowdfunding casess with the audience.

Experts of different field expressed different opinions of crowdfunding. Professor Wang Nianyong argued that “correcting errors” and “enhancing foundation” should be carried out at the same time to solve the four problems of crowdfunding. However, Professor Ji Zhibin argued that, although very popular at present, the future of crowdfunding would not be bright. Professor Fei Xianzheng expressed his opinions from the aspect of marketing. And Professor Wang Yongqian said that crowdfunding should be standardized so as to avoid illegal fund raising.

Many other alumni and experts shared their opinions on crowdfunding. They cited examples and integrated crowdfunding with their own specialties, further deepening the audience’s understanding of crowdfunding.
