On 15th of October, Professor LI Qingfang from Shih Chien University visits SHI Zhenrong, the CEO of Acer Group. They conduct hot discussions on terms of new era, new rules, new thinking pattern and new value. SHEN thinks the major thinking pattern relies on three points: value creation, profits balance and continuous business. He also emphasized co-creation value and dynamic balance. He thinks that people will benefit others first, so that they themselves will make profits, then they could create co-value. Besides, when we pursue the process of co-creation, we should pay attention on many aspects and balance the tangible and intangible value.

     SHI points out that people attain limited knowledge, but the future is unlimited. We cannot avoid problems, but we should solve problems with new design, new method, new thinking pattern. He also encourages us to expand and explore new areas, and face problems thus to create co-value.

     Besides, there are many hot issues in Taiwans university education, industrial development, and enterprises transformation. He offers his views like leading the direction and resource input of technology. From his point of view, Taiwans research and development capability is favorable for its development, the next step for us is to focusing on markets and the customers. So no matter you are managing your own business or a member of a group, you should make contributions to the society and exchange your value in the market.

     Furthermore, SHI also brought up some issues on the resources; we should make the extra-but-not-used resources to create their market value. However, strategic mind, operations mechanism, and support from the government will make the social resources useful.

     This interviewing with SHI is our way to expand our case data which are assets appraisal, SOE reform, Internet+ and enterprises in Taiwan. And it is the first time for the Chinese Management Case Research Center of MBA School to develop cases of Taiwan industries. Currently, the Center are connecting famous Taiwan corporation, like Tingyi Holding Corporation and Formosa Plastics for case development.
