In the afternoon of 12th of October, 2015, the meeting on the feasibility of setting up the fundamental base of intellectual property rights value assessment for the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) is held at MBA School of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. ZHANG Yanlin, the director of IPO of Hubei Province, XIONG Chuanwei, the deputy director of credit and investment office of Peoples Bank of China (PBC) Wuhan Branch, CHEN Baoguo, the deputy director of Wuhan Science and Technology Bureau (Wuhan Intellectual Property Bureau) , WANG Wengui, the deputy party secretary of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL), TANG Guoping, dean of MBA School of ZUEL, professor WANG Haisu, director of Enterprise Value Research Center of ZUEL and related leaders and experts have attended the meeting. The meeting is hosted by CHEN Hao, the deputy director of IPO of Hubei Province; CHEN simply introduces the background of the topic of the meeting. Nowadays, to fully implement the strategy enacted by SIPO, strengthen the IPR protection, promote the hypothecated loans of IPR are necessary to push forward the economic development and technological innovation. Thus it is the time to set up the base for IP value assessment. After CHENs introduction, WANG gives us detailed information on the research condition, HR resource, academic support and so on.

    After that, professor WANG gives his research on the feasibility report of setting up the fundamental base IPR value assessment of state intellectual property office. He gives a comprehensive introduction of the background of the base, the purpose of the base, the action plan, the research base of first phase development, the operation mode and expenditure of the base. He also expresses that the set-up of the base is an important measure to deepen the reform of ZUEL, in return it also will makes contributions to the community and the society.
