During 23rd-24th May, MEI Lixia, the MBA teacher, also the associate professor of School of Business Administration was invited to attend the business accreditation seminar held in Shanghai Hongqiao Hilton Hotel. The guest speakers are Mrs. Christine Clements, vice president of AACSB Internationals, and professor LI Tianxing, dean of School of Management of Taiwan Fujen Catholic University. Colleagues of business schools from USA, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Pakistan, Korea, Japan and China have attended the seminar.
MBA School of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law has been accredited by AMBA at August, 2011, making the School the 7th business school that has been accredited by AMBA. In 204, MBA School has been re-accredited by AMBA with the re-accreditation time of 5 years. In November, 2014, the MBA School has been approved by AACSB International for its accreditation.
AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business is a global, nonprofit membership organization of educational institutions, businesses, and other entities devoted to the advancement of management education. Established in 1916, AACSB International provides its members with a variety of products and services to assist them with the continuous improvement of their business programs and schools. Until February, 2015, there are only 13 business school in China mainland that has been accredited by AACSB International, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Sun Yat-sen University, Fudan University and Zhejiang University.
