Background information: Since the 18^th National People’s Congress, discussions and criticisms on the new-round revolution of state-owned assets and enterprises lit the whole country. Diversified ownership is an important systematic innovation and been recognized by all sector of the community. In order to lay solid foundation for financial revolution and the economic development with diversified ownership, and to perfect the modern market system and provide professional service with good quality for developing socialist market economy, we should carry out the scientific development and economic-restructuring.

    Professor WANG Haisu was invited to deliver his perspectives on the issues that we have interests on the “Forum on Assets Appraisal and Diversified Ownership Economy Development” co-hosted by Jiangsu Enterprise Service Operation Platform (), Jiangsu Appraisal Society, Jiangsu Assets and Equity Exchange, MBA School of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and Jiangsu Alumni Association of MBA School, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. Professor WANG from MBA School of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law said that: “in the past, when we talked about the assets appraisal, we mean we appraise the value of the land, factory or items of products. But now what we appraise is those enterprises with no so much fixed assets. Especially for the internet enterprises, what values most is their core technology, professional teams, patents and qualifications, and their long-served customers. For example, a restaurant with delicious dishes, how much does it worth？After all, assets appraisal is an industry develops with time. The feature of assets appraisal required the CPVs to continuously accumulate the constantly-updating knowledge. ”  

    On the forum, professor WANG delivered his speech by integrating the new-round diversified ownership revolution and the problems encountered during the development of assets appraisal. He summarized the general rule for fast-developing entrepreneurial Chinese companies, which are the results from many aspects including property inheritance, policy researching, private enterprises, stimulation from market-oriented economy, and so on. The core factors for supporting the competitive enterprises are that the enterprises cannot be replaced or imitated. For more detailed information, professor WANG shared his opinions on four aspects. He also proposed that during the process of transforming industrial economy to knowledge economy, and the planned economy to market economy, the enterprises consumes much tangible assets. Now, many enterprises, like the internet enterprises, they do not possess fixed assets, but they owned much more intangible assets during their development. So what the CPVs should do is to help the enterprises value their assets in the process of financing, expansion and inducing investors.
