In the afternoon of 2nd, November, 2014, WEN Hao, vice dean of MBA School attended the forum of “The Innovative Development and Revolution of Film Industry in China” as a guest. The other guests includes Mr. XIONG Xiaoge, executive vice president of IDG/CEO of IDG China, Mr. CHEN Jun, current chairman of China Urban Realty Association, CEO of Eastide Group (Nanjing) and the founder of IVIMOVIE, Dr. LIU Hanwen, director of Cinema Studies of China Communication Research Center, SARFT, and Mr. HAN Guangxi, CEO of CJ CGV Group (China) in Korea.
The forum was host by Teem Hoo Film Co., ltd (Wuhan), with the assistance of MBA School, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, which is also one of the important sessions of 2014 China Film Industry Fair (Wuhan). The fair lasted for three days, co-hosted by Wuhan Municipal Government, China Film Association, Beijing Film Academy and some other relevant associations. As “Chinese Dream & Influence” as its theme, the fair was divided into three parts: “expo”, “culture” and “trade”.
During the forum, the guests expressed, shared their own opinions on the future trends and challenges of the film industry in China, and the innovative mode of IVIMOVIE, the internalization of Chinese movies and so on. Professor WEN Hao came to a conclusion after analyzing influence on the film industry innovation brought by the technology, crossover cooperation, and regulation. He said that the key to develop film industry in Wuhan relies on its characteristics. We should develop the regional features, the micro film and copyright trading with characteristics so as to push the film industry in China to a climax.
