On October 12, another group of international students came to MBA School. This group included 37 entrepreneur students from Toulouse Business School, France. They communicated and interacted with our MBA and EMBA students in classes. Their instructors during this activity were Mr. Emmanuel Toniutti, an expert on business ethics and Professor Li Ding, an expert on Yi-ology (a discipline on ancient Chinese philosophy).

    In the morning, Mr. Allan Mainguy, representative of French CPA Foundation and Dean Tang Guoping extended their good wishes in their speeches. And the two instructors delivered a lecture in a pretty fresh way to the students. Mr. Emmanuel Toniutti talked about the origin of French and Chinese culture and the observation of business ethics, arousing great interest among the students of both sides. Professor Li Ding introduced some general concepts of Yi-ology as basis for future case analysis.

    After the lunch, the French and Chinese students were classified into different groups. With the help of interpreters, they discussed with each other freely and exchanged their opinions on specific cases about enterprise management. One and half hours later, representatives (one French, one Chinese) of each group stepped on the stage to present their discussion results, pushing the activity to a climax with their unique viewpoints and humorous ways of expression.

    After the presentation, the two instructors commented on the cases with their own theory. Mr. Emmanuel Toniutti even shared the actual methods used in solving the case, bringing another discussion among the French and Chinese students.

    At the end of the activity, student representatives from Toulouse Business School and MBA School exchanged gifts with each other, signifying the friendship between the two sides. Further cooperation activities were also decided on that day.

    This was the second batch of European entrepreneur students that visited MBA School, indicating that Wuhan and its local business schools had become a focus for European enterprises.
