Professor Hu Lijun, dean of MBA School and doctoral supervisor of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Mr. Zheng Yanmin, director of EMBA Alumni Associationof Hangzhou and president of Zhejiang Shanghu Group and Wu Zuchun, secretary of the Association and lawyer of Ze Da Law Firm attended the salon joint by Mrs Hu Sulan, head teacher of 2012 and 2013 EMBA Zhejiang class, MrYang Qinglongand students from the two classes. Professor Liao Jianqiao, lecturer of EMBA Human Resource and Management and doctoral supervisor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology presided the salon.

Secretary General Wu Zuchun started the salon by giving an elaboration on the history and current development of EMBA Alumni Associationof Zhejiang, which was followed by working plan delivered by Director Zhen Yanmin who proposed to have regular exchange activities such as gatherings, lectures and thematic salons so as to build up a good communication platform for alumina and also hoped that students on campus join in the Association as soon as possible. Then Professor Hu Lijun made remarks in which he first fully recognized the work of EMBA Alumni Associationof Zhejiang and express gratitude on behalf of the School to staff of the Alumni Association. Since 2005 when EMBA program was launched in Hangzhou, more than 500 senior executives from enterprises, financial institutions and government-affiliated agencies completed their EMBA study in our university, he said. EMBA program of ZUEL has by developed the spirit of innovation and distinctappeal and become increasingly influential in Zhejiang area by adopting forwarding and original management, differentiated development strategy, unique training mode and teaching positioning characterized by combination of economics, law and management. Many trainees after finishing their EMBA study have been promoted and their enterprises also developed fast, injecting continuousvitality to our EMBA program. Professor Hu then briefed alumina on the plan to set up Private Economy Research Institute of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in Zhejiang which can provide intellectual support for development of local private enterprises and contribute to economic development of Zhejiang province and at the same time offer our alumina a communication platform.

Professor Liao Jianqiao talked about current development mode of China through in-depth analysis of “British-American Mode”, “French-German Mode” and “East Asian Mode” and based on his own understanding. Students discussed on China’s development mode, shared their thoughts on the issue and posed the questions in their enterprises’ development. Professor Liao answered the questions one by one, which won applause from the students.

Students all appreciated the activitiesto be organized the Alumni Association and suggested actively participating in these activities to deepen friendship between alumni and the school and among alumina themselves.
