On September 24^th, a group of 33 EMBA students and teachers went to America to start their 15-day study tour. After a long flight, the group reached Chicago.

In the afternoon of the next day, regardless of the jet lag, the students now were sitting in the classroom of Harvard University and had a lecture of professor Richard Cooper of International Economics. The lecture is about the origins of American economy, the development after the global financial crisis, the stability of China’s economy and the local bonds, and the development pattern of global economic environment and energy. The students discussed and communicated actively with professor Cooper about the educational system and revolution in China. The lecture widened the visions of the students and gave great benefits to the students. After the lecture, the students visited the Harvard University and MIT. On 26^th September, the students visited Yale University and in the next day, they went to West Point for a visit.

      In there, they had a lecture of Leadership by Colonel Jon. He compared the leadership in the army and the execution in the enterprises, elaborated the related philosophy of management. Thus the students was inspired a lot and got new ideas. After the lecture, the students visited the beautiful campus of West Point.

On 2^nd, Oct, the group went to the one of the most outstanding private university---the Stanford University and had a lecture on how to create Silicon Valley. In the lecture, the students knew the legendary story of the Silicon Valley. After the lecture, the group went for some business visits.

During the tour, the group also visited the White House, the Capitol, the National Air and Space Museum building in Washington and so on. The study tour is regarded as one important part of the four practice module for the EMBA program. By visiting and studying in US, the students experienced the world renowned universities, improve their English and communicated with the American alumni. The tour is favorable for the life, career of the students, and to experience the American education, widen the visions, and enlighten their minds.
